How to qualify for the XTERRA World Championship

Our event grants 15 places among the 24 age groups. Each first position in each category will be awarded a World Championship registration certificate and then the places allocated in the order of registration (the first 15 entries completed). Registration must be completed following qualification and all fees paid. The remaining places, in the event that the 15 offered are not complete, will be offered among those who have indicated in writing their interest in participating in the World Championship. For this purpose, athletes wishing to qualify for this event are asked to send an e-mail to: athletes.xt.qc@gmail.com with a clear statement of their intention.

About XTERRA

XTERRA began in 1996 in Hawaii and combines swimming, mountain biking and trail running. This first competition led to the largest group of off-road triathlons in the world. Today, XTERRA organizes more than 300 races in many countries around the world.

Beyond the off-road triathlon, XTERRA represents a lifestyle that promotes adventure, the outdoors and an active lifestyle. The festive nature of XTERRA events aims to bring athletes together under these values. This is why other types of racing often surround the XTERRA triathlon, such as trail races, mountain biking, triathlons for children and many others.

The currency XTERRA translates as follows: Live more! We encourage athletes to play outside, explore and experience new and enriching experiences!
